JBA Consult Europe has developed the Climate Change Risk and Vulnerability Assessment Studies and associated Adaptation Plans for 6 flood risk management projects, financed through the LIOP, axis 5 Floods, 2018 - 2021 (beneficiaries RBA Somes-Tisa, Jiu, Olt, Buzau, Siret, Dobrogea-Litoral), The studies have been developed in accordance with the "Non-paper Guideline for Project Managers: Making vulnerable investments climate change resilient" as well as with the provisions of national and European strategies on climate change, flood risk management, etc. We specify that JBA Consulting Engineers and Scientists had a significant contribution to the elaboration / promotion of this Guide, based on a contract with EIB-JASPERS (2015), within which over 20 Romanian companies benefited from training.

JBA Consult Europe supported JASPERS by providing consultancy services for assessing funding applications and supporting documents (drafting ACN) for Major Investment Projects (TA 2018 052 RO) - Development of water supply and wastewater infrastructure 2014-2020, for the region Turda - Câmpia Turzii, Braila county, Cluj county, Constanța county, Ilfov county, Olt county, Salaj county, Teleorman county, Timiș county, from the point of view of climate change and vulnerability risk assessments and environmental aspects.

In the same time, JBA Consult Europe provided support to JASPERS by offering consultancy services for evaluating the Funding Applications and supporting documents for 3 water supply and wastewater projects in Bulgaria - Pernik, Varna and Burgas regions, in terms of climate change and vulnerability risk assessment.
